• Atlantic Express has put in place many detailed, helpful guidance measures to assure that the South Shore express bus service is successful and convenient for you. Current X23 and X24 service schedules are available on our website or by calling our express bus service toll free hotline at 866-442-0117. In addition, we will continue to keep you updated by distributing on all of our buses "Passenger Service Bulletins" by email (sign-up for this service on Main Page) as they may occur and by advertising and reporting new schedules and information in the Staten Island Advance.

• Our partners in this service - the NYC/DOT and the MTA, require the use of the MetroCard or exact change in coins. We are pleased to provide our customers with the added convenience of using the MetroCard which also offers the benefits of free transfer options to other MTA service as well as prepaid fare service. Our hope is that all of our riders will benefit from the "one-city, one-fare" policy that all New Yorkers are enjoying.

• South Shore riders can purchase MetroCards at many convenient retail locations and banks along the South Shore or at the MetroCard vans provided by the MTA for the next few weeks at both the old and new route locations. Additionally, MetroCards are available for sale at all Manhattan subway stations or by accessing the MTA website located at www.mta.nyc.ny.us/metrocard. MetroCards usable on Express Bus Service are available in Pay-Per-Ride amounts from $5 to $80. A 7-Day Express Bus Plus MetroCard is also available.
