In coordination with the NYC Department of Transportation, Atlantic Express operates Bus Routes X23 and X24 from the South Shore of Staten Island to Manhattan during morning rush-hours and return trip back to Staten Island during evening rush-hours.

Beginning February 27, 2005, increased fares will be collected for all NYC MTA bus and subway services. In line with the MTA's fare structure, Atlantic Express will begin collecting $5.00 per ride on the X23 and X24 beginning February 28, 2005.
